RoadtrIP 2024 – The event series on IP-based broadcast infrastructures is coming back

After the great success of the RoadtrIP event series in 2023, LOGIC media solutions is going on tour again in 2024 to present current developments and innovative solutions in the field of IP-based infrastructures for broadcast and media. The motto of this year's tour is: “IP based Media Infrastructure - what's next? Realized IP based live production projects and evolutionary improvements aka lessons learned”.

So it's all about the next level of IP-based media content production. Which projects have proven themselves in practice, what are the risks, what are the advantages, what needs to be considered in planning and implementation? These and other questions around SMPTE 2110, Software Defined Networks, JPEG XS and other topics will be answered by speakers from LOGIC and the participating companies.

This year's RoadtrIP will take place from November 5 to 14, 2024, stopping in seven

German cities: Leipzig, Berlin, Hamburg, Mainz, Cologne, Munich and Stuttgart.

As part of the RoadtrIP, LOGIC and the participating partners are offering one-day, free events at seven locations, where industry experts will provide in-depth insights into the world of IP-based media production. With a mix of theory and practice, including best practices, lessons learned, use cases, and outlooks on future infrastructures and trends, the experts share their knowledge with visitors.

The events are aimed at broadcast, production, and technology professionals who want to deepen their knowledge of orchestration, monitoring, and security in IP environments. The exchange takes place in renowned media houses and production facilities to ensure a practical knowledge transfer.

The RoadtrIP 2024 series of events builds on the success of previous editions, where hundreds of professionals were informed about the latest developments and presented with specific use cases. This year, interested parties can once again look forward to exciting lectures and live demonstrations.
