An event centered on software-based media production. Together with seven technology partners, we present an end-to-end reference architecture, contextualize individual solution contributions, and share insights from real-world projects.
Short talks, deep dives, and personal conversation over catering round out the program. Roadtrip 2026 in Munich is designed for people who plan, operate, or procure media infrastructure.
Participation is free of charge, with limited seats available. We look forward to having you join us.

The first program item sets the stage. "The Concept" explains why software-based architectures are gaining importance in the media industry, which requirements matter today, and what roles the participating players take on. LOGIC and the participating partners Citeloop, Dalet, Grass Valley, Matrox, Octopus, Sony, and Telestream present their approach and position their solutions within a shared example architecture.
"The Solution" shows how the concept translates into practice. In the first part, LOGIC and partners Grass Valley, Matrox, and Sony outline their contribution to the overall architecture and offer insights into real-world deployment scenarios. The focus is on interoperability, operations, and lessons learned from projects already in production.
Following the break, the second part of "The Solution" continues. Octopus, Citeloop, Dalet, and Telestream present their contribution to the overall architecture and share insights from the field. Once again, the focus is on interoperability, operations, and concrete, real-world experience.
To close, "The Outlook" looks ahead. LOGIC and partners Telestream, Sony, Octopus, Matrox, Grass Valley, Dalet, and Citeloop assess what's possible today, which developments are on the horizon, and what perspectives are emerging for software-based media infrastructure.
