Location

Hybrid, based in Mainz or Bickenbach (with regular presence at clubs and venues)

Type of employment

Full-time

Start date

Immediately or by agreement
Strategic importance of the role as a subject matter expert
Professional sports are undergoing a technological shift: stadiums and arenas are evolving from pure sports venues into highly connected, data-driven event spaces. Topics like fan experience, immersive technologies, LED infrastructures, data integration and cloud-based platforms are opening up an entirely new market for LOGIC. As SME Sports & Venues / Architainment, you play a key role in shaping this development. You combine a passion for sports with a solid technical understanding and a strong commercial mindset to position LOGIC as a technology partner for clubs, stadiums and venues across the DACH region.

Your tasks

Market development & relationship building

  • Define strategic target clubs and venues together with the team, and identify key decision-makers within clubs
  • Maintain a regular on-site presence at clubs and venues (every or at least every second weekend)
  • Organize regular club visits, both informal and in more structured formats
  • Bring clubs and venues into the LOGIC community
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities early, before they turn into formal tenders

Use case development & proof of concept

  • Develop use cases that make LOGIC technologies tangible in a stadium context
  • Initiate venue events, for example by visiting partner installations at venues together with prospective clients
  • Launch proof-of-concept projects and drive them forward together with LOGIC’s value streams
  • Facilitate workshops

Partnerships & ecosystem

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships
  • Track technological developments in the market and translate them into a sports context
  • Develop reference projects and use them as showcases for other clubs

Thought leadership & visibility

  • Actively share success stories with the market through articles, panel appearances, LinkedIn, marketing stories, trade shows, and more
  • Position LOGIC as a technology partner for sports and entertainment
  • Build and maintain the sports pipeline in the CRM and report to the VP Sales

Internal enablement

  • Share knowledge about the sports market internally and help colleagues identify relevant opportunities
  • Actively involve relevant colleagues in opportunities

Expectations

2026 – Building the foundation

  • Define the sports vertical (e.g. football, tennis, motorsport)
  • Define and actively develop target accounts
  • Build a portfolio of use cases (arena experience, LED infrastructure, LOGIC platform integration)
  • Launch initial proof-of-concept projects

2027 – Execute and scale

  • Deliver multiple venue projects
  • Establish reference stadiums as showcases
  • Scale the business and build a sustainable sports pipeline

What you should bring

Personality & attitude

  • A genuine passion for sports and stadiums – not a superficial interest, but something you truly live and breathe
  • Comfortable with small talk and confident in building relationships
  • A strong understanding of fan experience: what moves fans and what makes a stadium experience special
  • Strong storytelling skills – able to translate technological possibilities into the language of sport and sponsor benefits
  • A platform mindset rather than a product mindset – thinking in end-to-end experiences, not in isolated products
  • A high level of initiative – this role requires a self-starter who can move topics forward without close guidance
  • Patience in building relationships – trust with decision-makers at clubs grows over months, not weeks

Professional skills

  • A solid understanding of technology in the areas of media, cloud and data – no deep engineering expertise required, but the ability to understand and assess technical concepts
  • Ideally, an existing strong network across clubs and venues
  • Experience in business development, sales or consulting in a sports, entertainment or technology environment
  • The ability to develop use cases and turn them into concrete project ideas
  • Confidence in workshops and presentations – with the ability to show why a workshop is the right next step

What you can expect at LOGIC

  • A unique opportunity to shape and build a new business area for LOGIC media solutions
  • A long-term perspective in a growing company

What we offer

  • Attractive compensation model with fixed and variable components
  • Challenging projects in a professional environment
  • Trust, personal responsibility, and short decision-making processes
  • Opportunities for professional and personal development
  • Attractive conditions and benefits
